Happy Birthday Blake

Today we celebrated Blakes 24th birthday. We had Lunch with my parents at Red Robin and finished up with dinner with blakes parents at Black Angus. This birthday was filled with lots of family time. Noah sang "Happy Birthday" to his dad 3 different times and I accidentally told noah his dad was turning 34 instead of 24. All in all today was a good day.

Mommys trip to Virginia.

I went to visit my bestest in Virginia Beach, Virginia. It was a very well deserved and relaxing mini vacation. I was out there from jan 17 to jan 20.
It snowed while I was visiting. This picture was at the Willamsburg outlet's, it snowed the entire day while we were shopping!!! We took this picture because we thought that there wouldn't be any snow in Virginia Beach.
Sure enough when we got back to Virginia Beach it was snowing. This is a picture of Nikki and Gene her wonderful boyfriend who might i add slept on the couch the entire time i was there so that i could share the bed with nikki. what a sweetheart!!!!
Nicole was so excited that it snowed in Virginia Beach (it's a very rare to have snow at the beach) she wanted to make a snowman so here is her 3 inch snowman.
And here is the snowman the next morning. He's not lookin to good!!!

Family Trip to San DIego WIld Animal Park 12/07

This past December we made our fist trip to the San Diego Wild animal park with my aunt Karen, Uncle Doug and Cousin Karlee. Noah had a great time looking at all the animals and even touching some of them!!!
Here is Karlee and Noah at the play ground while we took a time out after walking up and down too many hills.
Blake and Noah.... Can you find Noah's favorite animal in this picture?
One animal got out of it's cage and started attacking Blake..... oh wait thats just Austin.
One happy, tierd and cold family we were ready to go but not without one family shot for the day.

Say Cheese.......

As you may know we love to take pictures of our family and the boys however, we are not so great at sending them out. Here are a few of the pictures we took on 11/20/2007 and if you haven't recieved them yet chances are they will be in the mail by months end since we are planning another trip to the studio for Austins 3 month pictures. The Boys are growing so fast and it's so amazing to watch them change day after day. I have to remember that Noah is no longer a baby, toddler or little guy instead he is now our "Big Boy" and Austin is now holding onto his toys, he has discoverd that he has hands and loves to grab at anything and everything within reach. Blake and I are truly blessed to have such wonderful children!!!!

Mr. Blake

For those who may not know Blake works at Noahs daycare Teaching the Pre-k kids. On Friday February 1, 2008 the kids and Blake were lucky enough to have snow brought down so that the kids were able to expierence a "Snow Day". To our surprise the Daily Breeze (local Newspaper) was at the school to cover the story and took a wonderful picture or Mr. Blake with some of the kids. The is another great picture of both Noah and Mr. Blake at http://dailybreeze.mycapture.com. If you can't make out the caption under the picture it reads: "Students at Brighter Preschool pelt teacher Blake Holker with snowballs Friday. Two tons of snow were deliverd to Lomita, giving the Southern California kids a taste of a very different winter." The picture below Mr. Blake shows Kylie who is also in Noahs class. This past week she told Noah she thought he was "cute". When I asked Noah about it he shly turned away and confirmed she had told him she liked him. WoW 4 years old and already he has them chasing him!!!!
